Isolation Cell

These images of Theresienstadt are very stark and give the viewer a real feeling of the hopelessness those inside surely felt; the loss of color in their lives; their flesh; their dreams. I got this message that, "This is what you have and nothing else and you will never have anything else again..." Your photographs are very evocative of the bleakness captives would have felt opening their eyes to a hand-drawn and washed out sun each morning and shutting them to a paper moon each night.
